Message from VNPS mailing list:

10 am - 1 pm at the VNPS propagation beds, behind the Horticulture Center at
Green Spring Gardens Park; cash or check only, please. In addition to perennial
favorites like wild ginger (Asarum canadensis), Spicebush (Lindera benzoin),
Cardinal Flower (Lobelia cardinalis) and Green and Gold (Chrysogonum
virginianum), we have several new-to-our-inventory plants like Helen’s Flower
(Helenium autumnale — in bloom!), Field Pussytoes (Antennaria neglecta),
Maryland Partridge Pea (Chamaecrista fasciculata), and Virginia Dayflower
(Commelina virginica — for wet places). I can’t list here all the species we
have, but invite you to come take a look at this lower key event before the big
sale for Green Spring’s Fall  Garden Day on Sept 22.
