Early saxifrage starting to bloom. A few yellow Trout lilies in bloom. False Mermaid was up. Lots of leaves of Canada waterleaf in evidence. The one Spicebush we saw was in bloom. Yellow violet in bloom. Some Blue Cohosh in evidence. Bluebells getting ready to bloom. Saw one leaf each of Aplectrum and Tipularia. A few Solomon's or bellwort plants were up. A number of sessile trilliums were up. A couple of wild gingers and star chickweeds were in flower. Some Jeffersonia was in bud. Some of the Erigenia was still flowering. One lone hepatica was seen with seeds.
