NEXT FIELD TRIP

Location: Turkey Run Park (along G.W. Parkway)
Date: Saturday, April 1
Time: 10am

Saturday forecast as of Thursday evening; High of 59 (51 at 10am); 
overcast but no rain

The starting point for the trip will be at the parking area just outside 
the park's main office. Edd confirmed that one can park here on the 
weekends. This should allow for a more gradual route down to 
the river compared to the "Zig-Zag" trail from the C-2 parking area which 
we've used in the past.

Going northwest on the Parkway, one turns right into the office parking 
lot.  Going southeast on the Parkway, one turns left into the office 
parking lot.  About 20 cars can park in this lot, but if there is not 
enough space, some people could park in Area B and walk on the Woods Trail 
to  meet us in Area A.

Edd has revised his workbook entitled: Biodiversity of the Potomac River 
Valley and has made it available in two font sizes.
