A reminder about our upcoming summer field trip.

Sunday, July 9 - Bear Island - C and O Canal - Mile 12.6 (Maryland), meet
at 8 a.m. at the parking area across from Old Angler's Inn.

Things to bring: lunch, water, sunscreen, hat, hand lens, binoculars,
field guides, etc.

While we have a list online for spring flowering species, we don't have
anything for the summer. Maybe someone will start one?

And September is not that far off!

Next meeting: September 5 at 7 P.M.
Topic: Members' Night

Several members will be giving 5-10 minute presentations on various
topics.

As in the past, our September "Members' Night" will provide an opportunity
for several members to share some of their botanical travel or research
slides, or to present other short subjects (10 minutes or less) to which
this format is especially suited. Members who plan to present slides
should send an email to Erika Gardner - GardnerE at si.edu .
