Coming soon ... The final issue of the Northeastern Naturalist for 2013

Once again, we have seen an increase in the number of researchers who are
accessing the journal's articles , both through personal subscriptions and
through online full-text databases, such as BioOne, EbscoHost, and
Proquest, and through a wide range of indexing databases.

Also, the number of submissions has again increased, in part thanks to a
noticeably more streamlined editorial process, which means that manuscript
turnaround times are now much faster.

So far, a total of 611 pages have been published through the 3rd issue of
2013 on natural history research in the northeastern United States and
eastern Canada, for a total of 12,814 pages since 1994.

2014 promises to be another fine year! ... Join us again !

Authors: Please consider submitting a manuscript for a regular issue or
for a monograph. The Northeastern Naturalist is well indexed, which
efficently brings your research to the attention of scientists throughout
the world.

Subscribers: Please consider subscribing to keep current with some of the
best natural history research in the Northeast. As a print subscriber, you
will also have online access to both the Northeastern and Southeastern
Naturalists on-line, including all special issues and monographs.

Conference organizers: Special issue proposals for publishing conference
proceedings or for publishing a thematic series of invitational articles
are welcome. The journal staff handles the bulk of the responsibility for
peer reviewing manuscripts, thus leaving editors/co-editors free to make
key policy decisions about their special issue.

Supplemental file options: The journal encourages authors to publish
online large maps, data tables, and audio and video files (e.g.,
documenting animal behavior) as supplemental files linked to their
articles.

We welcome your interest in our other journals.
