[BSW] Next BSW meeting + Trip Down Under + Tree book

The next BSW meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 8 at 7PM.
The speaker will be Dr. Mones Abu-Asab; his topic will be: Cladograms in

Location: Cathy Kerby Room (CE-340), Smithsonian Institution, National 
Museum of Natural History.

ALL ARE WELCOME.  Light refreshments will be served

Pre-meeting dinner: 5:30 pm at the Elephant & Castle Pub and Restaurant, 
1201 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Phone: 202-347-7707.  The restaurant is 
diagonally across from the Old Post Office Pavilion at 12th and 
Pennsylvania, a few blocks from the museum.  Federal Triangle 
(Orange/Blue) is the closest Metro Station and Metro Center 
(Red/Orange/Blue) is nearby.

If you do not have an SI badge, please let Robin Everly (everlyr at si.edu) 
know if you are coming to the meeting by January 7 , so she can arrange 
for badges.


While doing a little research about bluebird houses just now, I ran across 
Arlene's name and decided to visit her website which I recalled as being: 
nextbox.com.  Turns out, she's retiring that domain and now has her page 
at http://www.curiousnaturalist.com/. So, only a year late, here are a 
couple of links to Arlene Ripley's blog in which she writes of Doug's and 
her trip down under last January.
