[BSW] Further information regarding the Ice Mountain trip

May 9, 2012 Ice Mountain, WV Trip Dedicated to the Memory of Botanical 
Society of Washington Members Dr. Larry Morse and Dr. Peter Whitney

If you have questions regarding this trip, please email Marion Lobstein at 
mblobstein at earthlink.net or call her cell phone 703 622-0676 (she may not 
have cell service after 8:30am Sat. morning but will be available Friday 
and also Sat. morning after 6:00am by phone).

Directions from Winchester, Va to Ice Mountain: take 50 West to Capon 
Bridge, WV. In Capon Bridge, cross the bridge then turn right on Cold 
Stream Rd/Springfield Grade (by the white Methodist Church.) Proceed 8 
miles to North River Mills. You will see the white N.River Mills Methodist 
church on your right. Proceed about 100 yards passing a house and barn on 
your right. The Old Inn (your destination) is the next long white house on 
the right. You will see a red barn across the road.

[You may do a www.mapquest.com and put in North River Mills, WV as your 
destination.]

We meet our docents at the Old Inn, North River Mills at 10:00am, May 9. 
Docents must travel to get there, so please let Steve Bailes know if you 
are delayed.  Steve and Terry Lynn Bailes don't live at Ice Mt but can be 
reached at: Bailes home: 304-496-7359. Old Inn number: 496-9836. No one 
lives there, but the docent might be there near tour time. Restrooms: You 
are welcome to use the outhouse behind the Old Inn. If you prefer the 
flush variety, you might want to stop at the store in Capon Bridge.
