Subject: [PCA] REVIEW: National Fish Wildlife and Plants Climate Adaptation
Strategy -- Open for Public Review

----- Forwarded Message -----

As you may know, in 2010, Congress directed the Council on Environmental
Quality and the Interior Department to prepare a national government-wide
strategy for addressing climate change impacts on fish, wildlife and plants.

The draft plan is now open for public comment until March 5, 2012. The draft
strategy and portal to submit comments can be found at:

http://www.wildlifeadaptationstrategy.gov

Attached is a press release issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and
the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, which co-chaired
development of the draft strategy.

(Note: Rather than being attached, the press release referred to above is
here:
http://www.wildlifeadaptationstrategy.gov/pdf/NFWPCAS_Press_Release.pdf)

Note that comments can be submitted a few different ways, including online,
or by mailing the form on this web page:
http://www.wildlifeadaptationstrategy.gov/public-comments.php

People may also be interested in the public workshops that will be held (one
as early as this Thursday), where people can learn more, ask questions, and
provide comments on the draft strategy:
